I'm tired of Clemens and dreading the circus he'd bring. If it's between the Sox and Yanks, then obviously it's better if he's here, but I wish he'd just stay retired. Was reading Baseball Prospectus recently regarding their "There Is No Such Thing As A Pitching Prospect" (TINSTAAP) theory, stating that with guys like Hughes, Liriano, Bailey, etc, there is no guarantee that now is as good as they're gonna get , they could get injured, or something else could curtail their potential, so if they can help the big club now, it's idiotic to hold back on starting their clock due to arbitration issues or anything else. I say keep him on very low pitch counts in the minors til Memorial Day, the plug him into the rotation, assuming all goes well.
